Broncos’ Von Miller Diagnosed with COVID-19

Denver Broncos star Von Miller has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19. The news, revealed by the NFL Network, comes one day after L.A. Rams center Brian Allen became the first NFL player to contract the deadly virus. Miller is the only Broncos player known to have been diagnosed with COVID-19.The Broncos were originally scheduled to begin their offseason program this past Monday, but it was canceled when the NFL shut down its facilities because of the coronavirus pandemic.

STATEMENT FROM THE DENVER BRONCOS

“After experiencing flu-like symptoms, Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller has tested positive for COVID-19. Von has elected to share his diagnosis publicly to emphasize that anyone can be afflicted with coronavirus.

“Von is doing well and recovering at home in self-isolation. He remains under the care of team doctors, who are following all coronavirus treatment procedures to ensure a safe environment for Von and our community.

“Von is the first member of the Broncos’ organization known to have tested positive for COVID-19.”
