Cardi B Becomes First Female To Win ASCAP Songwriter Of The Year Twice In A Row


Cardi B‘s reign as the leader of the female rap-pack got major boost today.

The “femcee” has become the first woman to win Songwriter Of The Year two years in a row at the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Awards.

The ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper nabbed the to honor at the 2020 edition of the coveted event, which kicked off virtually today given the current climate.

Other winners at the special, which is taking place July 15th – July 17th, include:
