Denver Broncos Offer Refunds for 2020 Season Ticket Holders
“The gameday experience this season at Empower Field at Mile high will look and feel very different,” says the team.
Last week, the Denver Broncos announced that they’ll be offering full refunds to fans for the 2020 season due to limited capacity allowed at games. As of now, the 2020 NFL season is still set to take place as scheduled.
The refunds are being offered to the 2020 season ticket holders.
“Based on local and league health policies, we unfortunately will be unable to host all Season Ticket Members at Broncos games this year,” writes the team to fans in an email. “Reduced seating capacity will be required at Empower Field at Mile High as well as the other NFL stadiums due to COVID-19.”

“For any games you are unable to attend based on local guidelines, you will have the option of receiving a credit for next season or a refund when ticket availability is determined,” said the email said.
If you wish to attend games, as a season ticket holder, you don’t have to do anything. Season ticket holders are given first-priority once health guidelines are established for the stadium and the number fans allowed to attend has been solidified, according to the team’s website.
The email also said that there won’t be “a penalty to your standing or priority number as a valued Season Ticket Member if you elect to receive a refund, and you will be eligible to purchase your tickets again in 2021.”
