Dr. Fauci Expresses Support for NBA’s Restart Plan
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease supports the NBA’s plan to restart the season. 22 teams would play 8 regular-season games with everyone involved being tested for the virus and quarantined. Fauci said, I actually looked at the plan. Essentially testing everybody, make sure you start with a baseline of everybody being negative.
Under the restart, the NBA playoffs would extend into October.
Dr. Anthony Fauci told @Stadium he is supportive of the NBA’s restart plan: “It’s quite creative.. I think they might very well be quite successful with it… They really wanted to make sure that the safety of the players was paramount.” pic.twitter.com/qwo5bCDrVt
