Instagram Users Are Not Happy With The Latest Update
The latest update for Instagram has users unhappy, but much like an in-order timeline, will the app maker listen? Normally the buttons for posting a new photo and notifications are at the bottom of the screen. But they’ve been moved to the top, replaced by shortcuts to Instagram Reels and Instagram Shopping.
Reaction to the change hasn’t been exactly favorable. Influencers such as James Charles and food-blogger Alfie Green have given the layout the thumbs down, describing it as “cumbersome” and “truly a nightmare of an update.” Others have taken to Twitter, begging Instagram head Adam Mosseri to go back to the old format.
Today we're bringing some changes to Instagram – a Reels tab and a Shop tab.
The Reels tab makes it easier to discover short, fun videos from creators around the world. The Shop tab gives you a better way to connect with brands and products you love.https://t.co/qAWSsPruq5
