Lizzo Performs “Cuz I Love You” And “Truth Hurts” At 2020 Grammy Awards


Lizzo commemorated the night to Kobe Bryant.

Tributing the night in memory of Kobe Bryant, Lizzo kicked off the 62nd Grammy Awards (Jan. 26) with a memorable performance of “Cuz I Love You” (the same name as her third studio album) and her smash hit “Truth Hurts.”

“Tonight is for Kobe,” she exclaimed before killing her Grammy’s set.

Lizzo is nominated for eight Grammy Awards including Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. The Houston native also won two awards so far for Best Urban Contemporary Album (Cuz I Love You (Deluxe) and Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Jerome.”
