Netflix is gearing up for its first comedy festival

The streaming service has called on heavy hitters Jamie Foxx, Kevin Hart, Martin Lawrence, and Dave Chappelle just to name a few.  The week-long festival, called Netflix is a Joke Fest, runs from April 27 through May 3 at different venues across Los Angeles.

In a press release, Netflix’s CCO said, It’s our honor to transform L.A. for one week into the funniest place on earth. This festival is a unique celebration of the art of comedy, and the role it plays in reflecting our lives and defining culture.  Other comedians performing include Wanda Sykes, Arsenio Hall, Deon Cole, and Marlon Wayans.   Tickets are available now!
