NFL Draft Will Be 100% Virtual

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has told owners to prepare for this year’s draft to be done in a “totally virtual format.”
The memo that Goddell sent out to teams comes shortly after this year’s NFL Draft in Las Vegas had to be called off because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“We are operating in an environment unlike anything we have experienced before,” Goodell said in the memo to teams.
The draft, which many call the “unofficial start to the season,” begins Thursday, April 23 at 8 p.m.
