Shawn Mendes Says He Used To Skip Sleep To Exercise For 2 Hours Every Day
Do you "skip sleep" to get an extra workout in?
Shawn Mendes is opening up about what he calls a “unhealthy obsession” that he had about working out.
Mendes stated in a recent interview that “Some days I would have three hours of sleep [because] I’d get up two hours early just to be able to work out,”.
Mendes also stated that there was a lot of pressure to be physically fit and that he had fears of losing fans if he wasn’t.
Shawn has said that he has a better perspective now about fitness and health and that the “expectation to be hot” wasn’t something that was attainable and can end up being very dangerous.
Mendes also contributes his new outlook to his girlfriend Camila Cabello. They workout together, food journal together, meditate, etc.
