Gucci Mane is getting a biopic! The Atlanta rapper who has been credited for creating “Trap Music” will get his life story told by Paramount Pictures and Imagine Entertainment. Imagine’s Brian Grazer and Erica Huggins will produce the project with Mane and Todd Moskowitz acting as executive producer.

3.  Hip Hip Pioneer Lovebug Starski Has Passed Away 

Hip hop pioneer Lovebug Starski has suddenly passed away in Las Vegas at the age of 57.
Lovebug was born in the Bronx, and is credited as being one of hip hop’s first MCs. Lovebug is known for being the first to use the term, “hip hop.” 
Chuck D of Public Enemy later said the reason for Starki’s death was due to a heart attack. 
The hip hop community has lost another pioneer.
